Afro-Americans of Natchez PI/1996.0003

The Afro-Americans of Natchez photograph collection is made up of twelve black-and-white cabinet cards featuring images of prominent citizens of Natchez, Mississippi, created during the nineteenth century. The collection includes five photographs taken by Henry C. Norman and two by L. D. Simmons, each of whom owned a portrait studio in Natchez. Another cabinet card in the collection was created by Yazoo City photographer H. W. Bushman in 1888.
