Colonial Dames of America collection PI/COL/1984.0002

The Colonial Dames of America collection consists of one hundred seven hand-colored 4"x5" glass lantern slides donated in 1983 by the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Mississippi to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. The images in the collection depict historical landmarks in Mississippi and interpretations of the day to day lives of Mississippians and early explorers.
