Medical Licensure, Mississippi State Board of

The Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure was created to ensure the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of Mississippians when receiving medical attention. The Board does this through implementation and enforcement of laws involving the licensing and regulation of medical professionals through the enforcement of the Mississippi Medical Practice Act. The annual report (July 1 - June 30) provides an overview of the programs and financial operations of the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure. The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) copies of the report dating from 2008.
