The pictures here show the various stages of construction of the swimming pool. Since we had no money or lumber we had to make other arrangements. We learned of an abandoned CCC Camp near Humbolt, Tennessee - so Clifford Worsham and others went to Humbolt and dismantled the barracks and hauled the lumber back to the park to build the forms for concrete work. The entrance road to the park was not graveled and we got the trucks stuck - walked to our camp and went back the next day to get the trucks. The foremen for constructing the pool were Mr. Oscar Brannon and Clifford Worsham, under the direction of Sup't. Frank Berry.
