Division of Youth Services Annual Report
The Division of Youth Services administers probation, aftercare services and institutional programs for juveniles who have been adjudged delinquent in Mississippi Youth Courts or are at risk of becoming delinquent. Annual reports from this division compile analysis of data and programs and compare county and state data on training school commitments and pardons; youth court referrals and dispositions; and juveniles served in the state. Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services Annual Report
The Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services is an independent sub-agency of the Mississippi Department of Human Services whose mission is "to lead Mississippi's efforts in keeping children and youth safe and thriving by strengthening families; preventing child abuse, neglect, and exploitation; and promoting child and family well-being and permanent family connections." The annual progress and service report (July 1 to June 30) gives updates for the programs and services for which the department is responsible.
