Annual Report

Created in 1980, the Mississippi State Personnel Board is responsible for administering the state’s public employment system, including creating and classifying state service positions; creating a system of appointments, incentives and promotions to attract and retain qualified state employees; and overseeing personnel management across Mississippi state agencies. Annual reports cover the period from July to June. The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) copies of reports from 1999. Reports dating from 1999 to 2008 were scanned as PDF files by the Personnel Board, whereas reports dating from 2010 to the present are born digital PDFs.
