Articles of Peace and Amity, concluded at Natchitoches, between the Choctaw and Caddoquies Nations, agree to end hostilities and live at peace, agree that in the event of acts of outrage by individuals not to retaliate but take the matter to the United States Agent who would see to it that justice was done, agree they will not aid or abet the other's enemies, agree that messengers shall be sent throughout the Choctaw Nation to give notice of "this Convention," agree that for one year Choctaws will not frequent Caddo towns though the tribes may hunt together.
