Downs was in the presence of him and his wife when they mentioned the age of their daughter, Betsy Willis, that Downs resided in the same Wilks County, Georgia, as did he and his family before their emigration to the Mississippi Territory, and that Downs could name Breazeale's daughter's age "to a single day".
