Curtis, stated that Biggs borrowed fifteen dollars from Robert ? to pay his taxes, reported that the loan was paid back in livestock as Biggs had no money; Robert ?, witnessed by Thomas Dawson, stated that Biggs supposedly received the money from the sale of land up north; Wm. [William] Collins, related a conversation with Biggs in which Biggs described the robbery; W. McDuggle, witnessed by H. Hampton, related the account of the robbery as he was told by Biggs.
