Message: I read an article this morning in the Tupelo Daily Journal about the Governor and Physical Education. I am a certified Physical Education teacher who had to go back and get endorsements in computers to get a job. I did my practice teaching at Ripley Elementary under Coach Sherill McCoy in Physical Education. I LOVED everyday in Physical Ed. I like my computer job, don't get me wrong, but I agree with you. Children today need physical activity. There are so many children who never get any physical activity except walking back and forth to classes, and that is sad. I FULLY SUPPORT you and anyone else who would make it madatory for schools to have Physical Education as a requirement. Please keep up the fight for Physical Education, and let me know if I can help.
