The topic will be: Satisfying New Congressionally Mandated Stewardship Obligations Through Convenient Software Presented by: Larry Shoup, Janus Technologies The citizens of the United States provide financial resources and assets to the Federal government. The executive and legislative branches of government are responsible for the stewardship of these resources. There have been various initiatives over time to improve this stewardship. They include the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP), President's Council on Management Improvement (PCMI), Chief Financial Officers (CFO) Act of 1990, Government Management Reform Act (GRMA) of 1994, and Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) of 1996. This presentation shows how government agencies can use a software system to begin meeting their stewardship requirements. Join us in the Forrestal Building, 1000 Independence Avenue, Room 1E-245 and bring a lunch if you wish. The Forum is strictly informal and relaxed.
