I would think you were smart enough to know not to get involved in football recruiting for your alma mater, since you are the highest ranking public official in the state. You made it worse by using your son's "old friendship" with Jerious as an excuse. I would be willing to wager that Jordan has know Jerious for a maximum of 3 months maybe less. Please make a public apology to the people of Mississippi for this whole episode and to Jerious for the embarrasment he no doubt feels over this matter.
