"The United States Of America"... ************************************************ National Children & Family Awareness Of America Children's Awareness Month ~ June-For-Kids ~ ~Proclamation Request ~ Whereas: In loving memory of all children who have died from violent deaths in America, we do hereby proclaim the month of June as "CHILDREN'S AWARENESS MONTH".... with honor and deepest sympathy for those who have lost a child. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Whereas: The month of JUNE (The word June being derived from the latin word JU-VEN-IS...meaning "Youth")...shall be hereafter celebrated as the month of children's awareness. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Whereas: Children reflect our greatest hope as a nation. Therefore Children's Awareness Month is a time to be spent nurturing and cultivating the joys and treasures of our children. Sharing... "America-Loves-Kids"... =========================================== AMERICA...We are extremely proud to announce to everyone, everywhere, that since our grassroots movement for "Children's Awareness" started in Sept.1996, we have received & exhibited proclamations from 26 different state governors & mayors throughout America. We are even more encouraged to "Move-America Forward-For-Our-Kids" now that we have become officially organized in the great state of California as a tax-exempt-non profit-charitable-organization. We are hoping that this will open the doors to more opportunity to bring even more awareness of Children & Families and the need to increase communication skills between... Parents & their children... Teachers & their students... Police officials & young teenagers... Doctors for healthier kids... Seniors for wiser children... & Community leaders to be instrumental in the molding of tomorrow's leaders. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - NCACAmerica started when as a group of parents and grandparents who have lost children were very grieved over the tremendous amount of violence in the 90's... Then to see the tragedy of the Oklahoma City Bombing..Then a mother drowning her own two children... And then our friends in Montoursville, PA who died aboard the TWA Flight 800 tragedy... This was followed by our weeping over the murder of a child in her safe and secure wealthy home at Christmas... And then hearing of even more kidnapping, rape, murder and killing of our children in America. This all was more then we could deal with and felt a need to help find a solution. We pulled our broken hearts together and formed the National Children & Family Awareness Of America because we came from various parts of the United States. Our original goal was to have a "Special Day" once a year to "Remember Our Children" who have died from violence or violent deaths. We have since grown to where more & more hearts are opening up to our message and listening to the cry to stop the violence & abuses in America. It has grown to where now we "Celebrate The Gift Of All Children During The Entire Month Of Every June Yearly Dedicated To America's Future Leaders".."Children's Awareness Month". ------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are proud to serve our nation and hopefully help to re-establish the ties that bind between children & their families.
