Psalm 40:7

Then I said, "Behold, I come;
In the scroll of the book it is written of me.

After Jesus' ears were opened to this revelation then He said, "Behold, I come;"...it is written of me. This is a prophetic word concerning what the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would say in his future existence. The words, "I come," speak of a humble servant offering His services by saying, "Here am I." I come on the scene to do what I have been trained to do. I come to give the gifts I have been endowed with.

The Spirit made sure words of Him were included in the scroll (volume) of the book. It was all written about the Messiah beforehand so we would be equipped to learn Him, and know who He was and is. God never demands ignorance, only faith.

Let us praise Him for His Word today! It's His Word that brings the light of life.

In The Master's Service,

Bo Sullivan
