Psalm 34:6

This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.

When we cry out to God, He can't stand it, He must respond to our crying out. It's like any good parent would feel if their child was in distress and calling out to them. (Jonah 2:2) I suppose crying out to the Lord may be the quickest way to get His attention. God's ears are open to hear the cries of His people in trouble. God is in the business of saving us out of all our troubles. I want to stress the word ALL. Some of us have it down to an art form for getting ourselves into more trouble than we can dig ourselves out of. So many roads lay before us that lead to trouble. Trouble is the middle name for many. Trouble seems to be the second nature for some and the first nature for others. I thank God that He can be depended on when the chips go down on any of us. Anyone can call on the Lord God Almighty in a time of trouble. It is the Lord who saves us. Our greatest obstacle is our pride not allowing us to turn to Him admitting wrong and our unwillingness to forgive ourselves. Some of us are too hard on ourselves. These people will be too hard on other people as well. We must soften up before the Lord. Allow Jesus to save you. Call on Him today.

In The Master's Service,

Bo Sullivan
