Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

One has to discover ways to find that delight in the Lord. Sure, we are all delighted about missing out on hell. The deeper one goes with God the more delights found. It is a delight to have His blessing on our finances, health, property, and relationships. We must find delight in Him personally. He promises the desires of our heart, knowing they are many and varied. He is interested in us personally. He wants to see us show real interest in Him and all He says to us. He likes to see us delight in serving Him and obeying His Word. He is especially moved by our delight in worshiping Him. You can spot a delightful worshiper a mile away. They stick out like sore thumbs in a church service cast with dead people who are just there, warming a pew, wishing they were somewhere else. Notice, "He shall give."

In The Master's Service,

Bo Sullivan
