Governor Ronnie Musgrove
P.O. Box 139
Jackson, MS 39205

Dear Governor Musgrove,

The nation's progress in eliminating drunk driving deaths has stalled.

In 2000 and 2001, the number of alcohol-related traffic deaths
increased in the United States. Worse yet, the rate of alcohol-related
traffic deaths (based on the number of miles traveled in America) also
increased -- a clear sign that the deaths are not a reflection of
increased travel by the American public.

As my current governor, I'm asking you to help raise awareness among
incumbent legislators and lead the charge in upcoming sessions with a
renewed focus on drunk- and impaired-driving issues.

Sincerely,
Mr. James Winston
