Photographs - Group and Composite, 1876-2016
The series contains digital copies of composite photographs of members of Mississippi's House of Representatives and Senate. The earliest photographs combined the House and Senate; later composites separated the two legislative bodies. The House composites contain photographs of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, Clerk of the House, and Sergeant at Arms; those dated 1988 forward also include a photograph of the Speaker Pro Tempore. The Senate composites feature the Secretary of the Senate, Lieutenant Governor, Governor, President Pro Tempore, and Sergeant at Arms. Beginning with the 2016-2020 session, individual photographs of each elected official were transferred to MDAH. The composites are presented as JPEG tile sets.
