As a parent of a 10 year old who has become an avid coin collector as a result of the statehood quarter program, I see firsthand how children perceive states based on these designs and how this interest leads to learning. I feel that this program provides us an opportunity to shape the views of how this state is perceived throughout the nation. Personally, I don't have any strong views for a design, but I do feel that we as Mississipians should make sure our voice is heard and provide a design that we, and our children for generations to come, can be proud of. Thank you for considering this request.
