As a native Mississippian I continue to keep up with the goings on in my home state and a couple of things, the non-funding of the William Winters and Nursing scholarship loan program have me outraged. I am a teacher and have six registered nurses in my family so these issues are very important to me. WITH THE EXTREME TEACHER AND NURSE SHORTAGE IN THE STATE HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY ALLOW THESE TWO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS TO NOT RECEIVE FUNDING?!?!?!?!?!?! With all of the controversy concerning your office, this is the absolute dumbest thing you have ever allowed to happen! I may not live in Mississippi any more but every single member of my family, excluding my husband, is a resident of your so-called great state and I can promise you one thing Mr. Musgrove, you will not receive votes from any of those people! As proud as I am to say I am from Mississippi, I will use strong reservation in making those views public simply because of YOUR irresponsibility and revoked promises ! to your very own constituents.
