Subject: NO to casino/reservation in tishomingo/iuka
Message:
Dear Gov. Musgrove
I am writing to you again about the jena choctaws trying to get a
reservation in our county to put in a casino. Please fight this
attempt that could ruin our beautiful county and our children.
Apparently the jena tribe and Danny Ryan(our president of the
board of supervisors) intend to shove this casino down our throat in
spite of the fact that our board of supervisors voted 3-2 not to
support a casino and the straw poll that was taken in the county
with a larger turnout than the presidential election proved that the
majority of our citizens do not want gambling here. Thank you for
your support on this issue in the past and please help keep this
casino away from our county and the city of iuka. God Bless You
