From: "Mark Ketcham" <ravekid@watervalley.net> To: Governor Musgrove Created: 5/2/2000 1:01 AM Subject: aggitated Message: Dear Sir: I have been living in the state of Mississippi for a year now. I also have been working here for over a year. I have been paying Mississippi state taxes on the money I have made over the past year. I have a Mississippi state driver's licence, my car is registered in the state of Mississippi, and I am registered to vote here as well. After all of this I am not considered a resident of the state of Mississippi because I have not lived here for one year after being 21? This does not make any sense at all to me. It seems like the government is being run by the universities. Maybe the universities had something to do with creating that law. I just don't think it seems fair that I have to pay out of state fees to attend a state school in Mississippi even though I have been living and working here for over a year. I feel like I'm a part of the community here.
