I am not anyone important, nor do I belong to any organization- but I am a teacher. I have just heard *through the grapevine* that many cuts are proposed for the National Board Certification. I really wish that you would reconsider slicing the funding for this program. As I work on my National Board Certification, I am always proud to say that I come from Mississippi- given that Mississippi has such a large number of certified teachers. I am proud that Mississippi ranks high on the list of National Board Certified Teachers. I am also proud that our governor is on the National Board. Like, I mentioned earlier- I am just a nobody in this big state. But I am a teacher. I love my chosen career- but like many of my peers, I may soon have to find a new career just so that I can make ends meet. Please reconsider your education budget cuts. Thank you for your time. ~sh submit: submit --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Attachment Filename: C:\archives\governor\mail\Governor Musgrove\_attach\Comments to the Governor 61\Mime.822
