Musgrove, My mother is 75 years old and she gets the telemarketing solicitors calls. They abuse the elderly by selling them stuff that don't need and can't afford. Please help pass the Telemarketing Solicitors bill so our elderly can restrict such calls. In the last session the Bill H965 died in committee. Since our population is getting older we need to protect our Senior Citizens from the Telemarketing Solicitors who are unscrupulous. In March my mother had such a Telemarketer that I had to write the Attorney General's office. The company V.R.C.A. (sells magazines) even threatened to send their attorney to Meridian to collect their money. Ms. Wyatt in the AG office was very helpfull to us. Please support the Telemarketing Solicitors Bill when it comes across your desk.
