Gods ways are not mans ways (Isaiah 55:8,9). The way to life is death. The way up is down, in Gods kingdom. The path for true exaltation is abasement. We must suffer dishonor and persecution for Christs sake in this life (2 Tim. 3:12). The key is the motive behind the cause. Suffering like this for Gods sake is the right cause. This is a spiritual battle between good and evil. It is fueled by our doing right or our doing wrong. When we can do right in the face of wrong we open God great doors into our lives.
