From: Clifton Reed <vanillasensation@excite.com> To: RM.GOV_PO.GOV_MAIL Created: 3/8/2000 2:50 AM Subject: prayer in schools Message: Dear Mr. Musgrove: My name is Clifton Reed. I am a senior at Broad Street High School. I need your help with an assignment for school. I have to write a state elected official with an issue of personal concern and then bring the officials response to class for a grade. My personal concern is prayer in the schools. Every since prayer was taking out of the schools, violence at my school has soared. Prayer has been apart of our culture for years. As I look at all the tragic school shootings that are happening, I have become very afraid for my younger brother and me. I don't feel as safe at school as I once did. In order for us to reestablish the love we onec had, we must get prayer back into our schools. I would like to take it upon myself to get prayer back in Mississippi schools. Please let me know how you feel and how can I make this event happen. Sincerely, Clifton Reed, Concerned Student _______________________________________________________ Get 100% FREE Internet Access powered by Excite Visit http://freeworld.excite.com - Attachment Filename: C:\archives\governor\mail\Governor Musgrove\_attach\prayer in schools\Mime.822
