Position_in_Organization: 1st Vice President 2000-2001 Message: Dear Governor Musgrove: Do you remember a few years ago when you addressed the MS Homemakers during their annual State Council at MS State University at Starkville. It would have been in May. Because of First Lady Laura Bush's views on Literacy, and since our own Homemakers President Mrs. Mae Stanton of Natchez, had choosen literacy for her 2000-2001 statewide project; we have invited Mrs. Bush to be our keynote speaker. Her invitation is for May 23rd, Wednesday at Humphreys Coliseum on the MSU campus at 6:00 p.m. We will not know whether she can accept until her schedule is planned in March. I thought you should know that she has been invited in case you would like to extend your personal invitation for her to visit us in MS.
