I know I am not worth it but please do not forsake me, O Lord. See, I do not deserve any of Your graces. I could not blame You for forsaking me and leaving me to pine away in my own devices. That's what I deserve. I certainly don't deserve You. You are so faithful when I am so unfaithful. You are complete, I am incomplete and in constant need of help. I have made all the wrong choices. However, I can't stand it when You are far from me! I do not like any separation between us. I don't care what I've done, I am desperate for Your presence in my life. You are my only hope and desire. I choose to forsake my sin and pursue You, O my God. The temptation for me to sin is strong. I will not win that battle alone. I need You to be close to me, helping me win.
