The deep things of God are talked about in 1 Corinthians 2:10; Job 11:7. Psalm 64:6 says, "both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep." Psalm 92:5 says, "Gods thoughts are very deep." When a man hears the noise of the majestic roar of Gods waterfalls and dares to pause to meditate and muse before them, he finds himself reaching deep within himself to call out to that being that created him. Hence, a deep man begins to call unto a deep God. There is an inviting element surrounding a waterfall. It seems to beckon one to come on in. Man is easily covered up by waves in the ocean. Man is no match against those mighty waves. And so it is spiritually, God's deep spiritual waters easily engulf man. God has wave after wave of high wisdom, billow after billow of high knowledge. His knowledge is so high it goes over our heads, every time. Let us humble ourselves at His feet this day and search Him out as much as we can. Let us reach deep inside and call out to His depths.
