I am definitely in support of pay raises for K-12 teachers, but I am also in support of pay raises for all employees of our education system. I ask that you please amend this bill to mandate midpoint plus an increment for community and junior colleges. Community and junior colleges play an important part in preparing Mississippians for the workforce. I am very proud to be a part of that and I would like to see rewards for all those who work to make this happen continue. Thank you for your support and all the hard work that you do for our communities and our state.
