Dear Governor:
For a number of years the tradition of the military Community Activities Center has been to request “Holiday Greetings” from the Governor of each state. These “Holiday Greetings” bring a touch of home to the community, and are posted in Moyer Community Activities Center at Yongsan, United States Army, Korea. We are requesting a “Holiday Greeting” from you.
This greeting is appreciated by all soldiers, retirees, family members, and civilian personnel. In the past, the Governor’s greetings made pronounced contributions toward assisting in the building of morale of all members of this military community who are so far from home.
Community members will take a few minutes of their busy time to read “Holiday Greeting” and receive cheers from their state Governor. The Governor’s “Holiday Greeting” board will be highlighted from 1 December 2001 to 10 January 2002. Your greeting to soldiers, civilians and family members from your state will be cherished, especially during this time of war and turmoil.
Request you pass this request along to other organizations who may be interested in sending holiday greeting. We would like to receive your “Holiday Greeting” at the earliest convenience.
