I would also like to commend you for trying to promote education and technlogy. I am a system Engineer doing mostly school districts in the southern part of the state. I work closely with technlogy persons within the district to repair or upgrade hardware. Recendly you have made changes to the system that will affect the overall mission you are trying to get to. Example the roads in mississippi are being built all the time with no maintenance to keep them up. The same will happen to technlogy. You can put computers in the class rooms and do no maintenance or training and they will fail. I see this all the time. I know a couple of districts that have computers that do not know what to do with them. If you want to promote something in the state check out arizona tax credit for high tech companies. You are on the correct path but some changes have to be made in the school systems. I w! as waiting o n a opening in my home Thanks Mike Hollingsworth CNE submit: submit --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Attachment Filename: C:\archives\governor\mail\Governor Musgrove\_attach\Comments to the Governor 8\Mime.822
