Message: Dear Governor Musgrove,
I recently attended a MASE meeting for the first time and discovered that I as a voter should be taking more interest in the elements at state level that affect my income and the out of pocket insurance cost to myself as well as the cost to the state.
I ask your support for realignment as well as across the board raises for state employees and in particular the DHS staff. We have been overlooked for too long The stressful work overload seems to get less than a pat on the back. Yes, I chose this work because I would like to feel I am helping my community and by doing so can take a sense of accomplishment home but self gratitude does not sustain myself or my family.
I ask that you come through for us. I also want to thank you for standing by those of us that also represent our state. Good employees should have a good attitude, the ability to perform the duties and standards required and good motivation to build good morale...a raise good certainly boost the morale.
