Many of them fail at that. Our political leaders are expected to be role models in following the rules. Many of them fail at that also. In my opinion, you have put yourself in the latter group. You are not to be a role model on how someone can skirt the rules, how one can find a way to cleverly stay on the fringe of a rule and yet appear to not break it. You are supposed to be the torch bearer of being right, lawful, and playing by the rules. Instead, you use your position as governor and your son to recruit a football player to your alma mater at tax payers expense. Poor judgement. You also insult the intelligence of every citizen by denying the impropriety of the situation and use courtroom language to explain yourself. Yes, you have set a fine example for the young people of this state.
