Noble T. Crigler was introduced to Margaret Ann Whitehead by her brother, Lee Edward, in December 1957 in Caraway, Arkansas. The young couple soon fell in love and were married on December 23, 1959. The Criglers were personal and professional partners for over sixty years, operating successful businesses in the southeastern United States, such as American Development Corporation; United Structures, Inc.; Moon Lake Building Supply; D. P. Property Managers; M. L. Management; and Friar Tuck's Fried Chicken. They built and owned homes in Moon Lake, Mississippi, and Viola, Arkansas, and traveled the world together. Along the way, they befriended many famous people, including Mississippians Thad Cochran, Mike and Portia Espy, John Grisham, and Aaron Henry, among others.

After receiving a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in June 2021, Margaret Ann Crigler succumbed to the disease at the age of seventy-nine on November 10, 2021. To honor his wife, Noble Crigler filled five albums, titled The Pictorial Life of Margaret Ann Crigler, with photographs and memories arranged chronologically from 1942 to 2021.
