Collection Description
The Allard (Michael A.) Hurricane Katrina Photographs collection consists of fifty-seven (57) digital color photographs donated to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History by historian and former staff member Mike Allard. He was asked to escort disaster recovery and assessment teams to the Mississippi Gulf Coast on September 27, 2005, and used his personal camera to document clean-up efforts.
