The Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering is tasked with examining, licensing, registering, inspecting, and regulating the practices of cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and nail technology to ensure competency and sanitation among all licensed practitioners, establishments, and schools in the state. The annual report (July-June) summarizes the meetings, budget and expenditures, licensing, examinations, disciplinary actions rules and regulations, and inter-agency activities of the Board. The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) copies of the report from 2024.
