The Biloxi, Miss., photograph collection consists of a twenty-four-page souvenir booklet of postcards produced by the Albertype Co., Brooklyn, N. Y., for the T. J. Rosell Manufacturing Company that was based in Biloxi, Mississippi, during the early twentieth century. The black-and-white picture postcards feature buildings associated with the T. J. Rosell operations, as well as structures and scenic views representative of Biloxi, including the U.S. Custom House, the Biloxi Lighthouse, "Beauvoir" and other residences, the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church, a yacht race, beaches, and an orange grove.

Image Arrangement and Numbering
The "Biloxi, Miss." souvenir booklet was scanned front to back, and the image numbers reflect the original page order.
Technical Details
Original Scans: The original scans of the Biloxi, Miss. photograph collection were made in 2019, according to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Board of Trustees' approved imaging procedures, following ANSI/AIIM recommended practice. The images were scanned as uncompressed, 24-bit RGB TIFF files at 600 pixels per inch.
Conversion: For Web display, the original scans of the Biloxi, Miss. photograph collection were converted to JPEG tile sets.

There are no known restrictions on use of images within the Biloxi, Miss. photograph collection. MDAH asks that each image used in a presentation, display, or publication be accompanied by the following credit statement:
