Margaret and Noble were friends and neighbors of their parents John and Wanda Grisham that lived on the adjoining farm. Later John Jr. would write a book entitled A Painted House. The book is actually about his mother and father's experiences and life during the same time period Margaret and Noble lived as their neighbors. The characters are real and it describes accurately farm life at that time. 1961."
