They were the largest farmers in the Parish, growing cotton, soybeans, wheat and over 100 acres of sweet potatoes. Margaret worked with Noble on the farm, even walking behind the potato digging machine picking up potatoes the workers missed. She also had a part time job at a propane company in Oak Grove. She attended Beulah Baptist Church where her old friends the Reverend [Darrell] Ball and family had been called to serve. 1966."
