Volume 2, Page 60. "In 1990, Margaret and Noble were in the lobby of the Willard Hotel in Washington D. C. watching the senators and congressmen go by, waiting to go to a White House reception, when a nice Mexican couple sat down. Margaret began a conversation with them. It was learned that they had an appointment at 2 p.m. but would not be able to change clothes because there were no rooms until 4 p.m. Margaret said, "Here is the key to my room. You can use it." They brought the key back but never said where they were going. When Margaret arrived at the White House, she was told they were having a reception and making an award to the most outstanding Mexican American family in the United States. The award was being given to Mario and Celia Jimenez of Whittier, California. To Margaret's surprise it was the same unknown couple Margaret allowed to use her room. From that day on, Mario and Celia and Margaret and Noble were close friends. They visited each other many times."
