Volume 3, Page 75. "Over the past twenty plus years while meeting presidents, cabinet members, senators, ambassadors and other political figures, Margaret met several business people from different areas of the country. On one of her trips to Washington D. C. she became friends with Harry Hatchet, Vice President of Merrill Lynch in New York. Later on a trip to New York, during dinner at the Tavern on the Green in Central Park, Harry and his wife Barbara invited Margaret and Noble to South Hampton on Long Island for a visit at their home. Margaret and Noble's friend David Griffin, after learning of this, volunteered his Falcon Jet to fly them to Long Island. The jet was on standby until they had completed their visit with Harry and Barbara, then flying home. During her four day visit with Harry and Barbara, Margaret was treated like royalty, a private tour by the curator of the South Hampton Museum, free run of the historic Montauk Light House (commissioned by President George Washington), and dinners with Harry and Barbara's family and friends. The sea shells Harry helped Margaret collect on the beach at Barbara Walters and Steven Spielberg's home[s] were never removed from the window sill in the kitchen of her Viola Home."
