For those that attended, the minimum drive for her service was eight hours round trip and some ten hours. The exception being Dr. Jerre Freeman and Pat Beach of Memphis. Her close friend Mike Espy brought her eulogy, speaking of his love and respect and telling the story of the first time he met Margaret. A story mike had told many people over the years, including the president of the United States. Reverend Steve Stephens brought her service and spoke of a time when he was going through very extreme difficulties, and Margaret's words and kindness had saved his life. Margaret and Noble were soul mates with an undying love for each other. They considered how devastating it would be for one if and when the other passed on. It would be even more agonizing if final arrangements had not been made. For many years Margaret and Noble had admired the peaceful beauty of Memorial Park.
