Annual Report

Medicaid is a national health care program that helps pay for medical services for low-income people. The mission of the Mississippi Division of Medicaid is to ensure access to health services for the Medicaid eligible population in the most cost efficient and comprehensive manner possible and to pursue strategies for optimizing the accessibility and quality of health care. The annual report (July–June) presents statistical data of funding and beneficiaries of the Medicaid program in Mississippi. The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) copies of the report from 1970. Paper copies of the 1970-1990 and 1994 reports were scanned and saved as PDFs by MDM. More recent reports were "born digital" and saved as PDFs.

The "Medicaid Minute" is a staff newsletter published at irregular intervals by the Mississippi Division of Medicaid. Volumes provide news on the agency as well as staff members and their families; pointers on health, safety, and rights management; and factoids about gems and flowers of the month. Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Agendas and Minutes

The series contains the agendas and minutes for the meetings of the Mississippi Division of Medicaid's Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee. The Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee is comprised of twelve participating physicians, nurse practitioners, and practicing pharmacists who are active Mississippi Medicaid providers and in good standing with their representative organizations. The P&T Committee is an advisory panel who conducts in-depth clinical evaluations and recommends appropriate drugs for preferred status on DOM's Preferred Drug List and/or for prior authorization.
