Miscellaneous Broadsides
The Mississippi Department of Archives and History has over 1500 broadsides in its collection. They include ephemera such as reward and funeral notices, advertisements, speeches, newspaper clippings, event programs and bulletins, and political posters, dating from 1795 to the present. Items represent all areas of Mississippi, as well as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Texas, and Washington D. C.
