The Mississippi Department of Employment Security was created to help Mississippians get jobs by operating WIN Job centers that match prospective employees with employers and help Mississippi businesses develop a highly skilled labor force. The Department also administers the state unemployment benefits program. The annual report (July 1 -June 30) highlights the programs and services the agency provides to the state. The Department of Archives and History has paper copies of the report from 1975 to 1994 and electronic (PDF) reports dating from 2011.
