The Occupational Employment & Wages program of the Labor Market Information Department at the Mississippi Department of Employment Security publishes annual estimates of occupational wage statistics from surveys of a random sample of employers. The report includes types of occupations, the number of individuals employed in those occupations, and the salary ranges (average, median, and experienced) paid by the employers. Estimates are published for the state, Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), and Workforce Development Areas (WDAs).
